Oh, we wanna dance with Samuel Johnson, Cassandra Thorburn and Sir Curtly Ambrose; the first three celebs set to join 10's all-new Dancing With The Stars lineup!

Channel 10 has announced that the much loved and absolutely fabulous Dancing With The Stars will be back on the telly in no time, and the news has been made even sweeter with the announcement of the first three very talented, and very popular celebs who will vie for the ultimate winners title.

Samuel Johnson

The first to ‘Step Up’ to the plate is award winning actor, cancer research campaigner, Gold Logie winner and all round top bloke Samuel Johnson, OAM. He’s super keen on not only showcasing his new found dance moves, but breaking fundraising records towards kicking cancers butt through his charity – Love Your Sister – which he established with his sister, Connie.

Samuel told 10 “I promised the country I’d raise $10 million for cancer research and I want to dance my way there. I’m being trained intensively hour upon hour, day upon day by the best in the business.”

Sir Curtly Ambrose

Next to ‘Bring It On’ is sporting legend Sir Curtly Ambrose, who will swap cricket balls and jerseys for spirit fingers and sparkly jackets. Determined to prove that nobody puts Sir Curtly in the corner, he said: ‘“This will give me a chance to show Australia and the rest of the world that I can do more than a bit of cricket. I’m serious about it, I’m not going to travel all the way from Antigua to come here to mess it up.”

Cassandra Thorburn

Finally, children’s author and broadcaster Cassandra Thorburn will take ‘Centre Stage’ as she shakes her groove thing as a promise to her late father.

The mother of three shared a piece of advice from her father: ‘‘If you don’t say yes to an opportunity that you NEVER thought would come up you will regret it one day’. Plus, learning to dance is so lovely. What a skill,”. We couldn’t agree more!

These are just three of many more celebs that will be gracing the Dancing With The Stars stage. Keep an eye out for future announcements of the full star-studded line up.

Dancing With The Stars airs 7.30 Monday on 10 and 10 play
