Dancing With The Stars 2019 Judges Revealed

International dance heavyweights Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus are ready to judge the celebs’ chasses, shimmies and moonwalks!

With two Dancing With The Stars US alumni and Strictly Come Dancing UK’s ‘tough’ judge, our Dancing With The Stars panel of judges is looking pretty spectacular. The 11 celebrities will need to practise, practise, practise to ensure their rumba, foxtrot and salsa are up to standard if they want to impress these guys – we have a feeling they’ll be taking no prisoners.

Keen to get to know the judges? Look no further…

Craig Revel Horwood

“I will be watching every move, there is no hiding bad technique or poor posture on my watch. I expect nothing less than perfection.”

Australian-born, Britain-based, Craig is a choreographer and theatre director who’s been serving on the original Strictly Come Dancing judging panel in the UK since its first season. Given it’s now in its 16th season, this guy is an eagle-eyed pro.

Craig Revel Harwood

In episode 1, our brand new judge didn't shy away from critiquing the celebrities and dancers with some hard-hitting feedback. Nonetheless, our audience and the rest of Australia were kept on the edge of their seats thanks to Craig's hilarious yet, brutal honesty.

Sharna Burgess

“I am so excited to be coming home to bring my knowledge and passion from the US to this stellar line up of Aussie talent.”

Sharna’s resume is definitely something worth high kicking about. A Wagga Wagga girl through and through, she went on to made it big and has competed as a professional dancer in 12 seasons of Dancing With The Stars US – that’s a whole lot of routines! Last year she took out the ultimate prize when she and her partner, Bobby Bones, took home the disco ball trophy.

Sharna Burgess

With a lot of Dancing With The Star's experience up her sleeve, Sharna showed a lot of compassion for our stellar lineup and their pro partners, as she knows just what its like to be in their dancing shoes.

Tristan MacManus

“I can see myself giving a 10 but I’m not going to trot them out willy nilly… if I gave someone a 10 one week, I’d easily give them a five the following week just to pull them back down if that’s what they needed!”

Rounding out the judging panel is Tristan MacManus, a handsome Irishman that has previously partnered with Pamela Anderson and Gladys Knight on the American version of Dancing With The Stars. Tristan just so happens to be married to an Aussie so that basically makes him one of us.

Tristan MacManus

In episode 1, our charming new judge truly wowed the crowd with his infectious smile and words of encouragement, but this didn't stop Tristan from providing the performers with some supportive and helpful feedback for the future.

Craig, Sharna and Tristan will determine, along with viewer votes, who of our 11 celebrities will be crowned victorious on the dancefloor.

Dancing With The Stars airs 7.30 Monday on 10 and 10 play
