About Dancing With The Stars Australia
The dance floor is shining, the sequins are sparkling, and the celebrities are ready to rumba. One of the most successful television formats in history, Dancing With The Stars, is now back – only bigger, better, bolder and brighter on Network 10 and WIN network in 2019.
Hosted by 10’s dazzling television duo Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer, the popular family format will return with a fresh new look, new judges and new celebrities ready to hit the dance floor.
Eleven of our illustrious celebrities will be paired with professional dancers and compete in a dance competition oozing glitz and glamour, all in the name of charity.
From the cha-cha-cha to the quickstep, waltz and jive, every week our celebrities will compete to master and showcase their fancy footwork during extravagant weekly live shows in a bid to impress the judging panel and of course you Australia, our audience watching and voting at home.
With each celebrity dancing to win their chosen charity $50,000, the pressure is on to ensure they don’t put a foot wrong. Under the watchful eye of our three judges - Craig Horwood, hailed as the ‘tough’ judge on Strictly Come Dancing UK and two Dancing With The Stars US alumni, Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus – the stars will need to dance to the beat or risk elimination.
So, it’s time to shine up those sequins and dust off the dancing shoes, as our 11 celebrities get ready to chasse and shimmy their way into dancing stardom.
Who will be the last one twirling to be crowned Dancing With The Stars champion of 2019?
